Chelsea vs Liverpool – Liverpool’s Predicted Lineup | EPL 23-24

Liverpool’s opening game of the 2023-24 Premier League season has the Merseysiders make the trip to west London to lock horns with Chelsea.

The Reds, who have made just two new signings this summer, will be hoping to start the new campaign on a high against a new-look Chelsea side.

Alisson Becker is a certainty to slot between the goalposts for the visitors Liverpool with Jurgen Klopp tipped to field his strongest backline on paper.

Virgil van Dijk, who took over the skipper’s armband from the outgoing Jordan Henderson, is likely to be joined by Ibrahima Konate in the heart of the defence.

In the midfield, new signings Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister are expected to be joined by Curtis Jones with Thiago Alcantara starting on the bench.

Up top on the pitch, Cody Gakpo could be seen operating in the false nine role for Liverpool while Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz slot in on either side.
