Liverpool are said to be keeping close tabs on Manchester United target Sofyan Amrabat as the Reds look to add to their midfield options this summer.
The Anfield camp are desperate for reinforcements to bolster a depleted midfield roster which has lost the likes of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho in recent weeks while seeing only two new incomings from the market.
According to a report from The Daily Express, Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders have identified Sofyan Amrabat as a top name on their wishlist despite the Morocco international being heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Liverpool’s fierce rivals United have earmarked the Serie A talent as a top target for the summer window but it is understood that United need to sell some players before they can table an offer to sign the midfielder.
United are holding out on landing Amrabat’s signature with both Fred and Donny van de Beek expected to head out the exit door with the former closing in on a move to Turkish side Fenerbahçe.
