As per the club’s official website, Liverpool have officially announced that Ben Doak has signed a fresh contract with the club at Anfield.
The 17-year-old arrived at Merseyside from Celtic during the previous summer and has shown impressive progress within the club’s academy.
In November of last year, the young talent made his competitive debut as a substitute during a League Cup match against Derby County.
He has accumulated five more appearances with the first team, with his most recent match occurring in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea.
The Scottish footballer has been on the bench as an unused substitute in three more Liverpool matches this season. His remarkable progress has caught the eye of manager Jurgen Klopp, who even included him in the squad for the pre-season.
Doak has recently signed a new contract, affirming his commitment to the club for the long term. He is highly regarded as one of the most promising talents in Liverpool’s academy and appears to have a promising future ahead of him with the Reds.
Doak primarily operates as a right winger but has the versatility to play on the left wing or as a striker in the center. His notable performances for the Under-21 Scotland team have put him in line for a potential call-up to the senior national team.

However, Doak will need to be patient this season, as he is unlikely to see many opportunities with the first team at Liverpool.
