Liverpool Legend Believes Klopp Could Build A Dynasty

Former Liverpool star Graeme Souness has delivered some exciting news for Liverpool fans in expectation for the near future under Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp has built quite a stellar team with the Merseyside outfit over the past few seasons and Liverpool tasted success in the Champions League as they brought the European Cup back to Anfield for the sixth time in their illustrious history.

But despite the most successful season in the Premier League ever since the club was formed, Liverpool fell short by just one solitary point behind eventual champions Manchester City. But things look to be pointing in the upward direction for Liverpool as they lost only one game in the whole season in England’s top flight.

However, ex-Liverpool midfielder Graeme Souness believes that Klopp is potentially overseeing a dynasty. The 66-year-old former Scottish international said,  “When Klopp came to speak to us when he was on the touchline at Cardiff a couple of months back, I said to him that it will be only a matter of time before you start winning trophies with this team. It’s inevitable more will come. They only lost one game all season in the Premier League last year – and that was at Man City. I was at that match and it should have been a draw.”

Souness also went on to praise veteran English midfielder James Milner and explained, ”In James Milner, they have a quiet assassin and I don’t think I’d particularly enjoy playing against their midfield because they are on you all the time, they want to get physically involved with you – and they steamroller. More success will come for them.”
