Wayne Rooney Reveals The Only Mistake Jurgen Klopp Has Made So Far

Former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has admitted his praise for German boss Jurgen Klopp but stated that the only mistake the 52-year-old has made is joining Liverpool.

There has been plenty of joy at the red half of Merseyside since Jurgen Klopp arrived back in October 2015 and that delight has now turned into ecstasy. Liverpool was crowned as Champions of Europe for the sixth time and now the Reds are planning to use that as a platform to leapfrog and achieve even more success over the next few years.

It could easily have been a double for Liverpool but the Reds lost the Premier League title to Manchester City by just one solitary point despite the best having the best ever season ever since the club was formed back in 1892. But Klopp is now desperate to end the Anfield faithful’s 30 year-long waits for a Premiership but rival fans will continue to mock them until then.

But ex-Red Devils forward Wayne Rooney has admitted that Jurgen Klopp is a brilliant manager and anyone would relish the opportunity for playing under the charismatic German. It’s quite evident that the former England striker holds the Klopp in high regard as he said, “Jurgen is a manager every player would love playing for, and you can see how much fun his players have played under him. I met him once, he is an amazing guy.”

The 33 year old DC striker then went on to explain that Klopp’s only mistake was the fact that he decided to join Liverpool, who are arch-rivals of Manchester United  and Rooney also added that Klopp’s best years are still ahead of him, “His only mistake is that he works for Liverpool and is successful there. “I have much respect for Jurgen Klopp and for what he already has achieved. Not only in Liverpool, but also in Dortmund. This guy really has it, and he has his best years still upon him”
