The scoring in the quarter-final match at Old Trafford, England, began with 10 minutes on the clock, as Scott McTominay converted a rebound.

Nevertheless, Liverpool levelled the score in the 105th minute with Elliott’s deflected shot that ended in the left-hand corner of the goal. Red Devils levelled the score right away when Rashford finished McTominay’s pass by putting the ball into the net. The match was living up to the expectations and everyone felt that the match was going to the penalties.
However, when the match had added time with extra time left, Amad managed to get the decisive goal for United and they thereby earned their spot in the next stage. It was completely unfortunate for Liverpool to lose the match even after fighting till the very end.
