Liverpool have not yet made a signing under new head coach Arne Slot this summer, with key players like Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, and Calvin Ramsey leaving the club.
However, Liverpool are expected to be active in the transfer market, particularly in their search for a new centre-back following Matip’s departure.
Nottingham Forest defender Murillo has not ruled out a move to Liverpool, describing it as a “good opportunity” for his career.
Murillo, who came to Forest from Corinthians last August for £12.7 million, stood out really well in his first year.
He played in 36 games, helping Forest stay up in the Premier League and took home the club’s Best Player award.
Though he’s only been at Forest for a season, Murillo is already being eyed for a switch, with Liverpool seen as a possible new home.
In an interview with the Benja Me Mucho podcast, Murillo revealed his ambition to move to a bigger club.
“I had the dream of playing in the Premier League,” he said.

“My plan was to join Nottingham Forest, have a successful year, and then move to a bigger club. That was my goal,” said Murillo, expressing his willingness to join Liverpool as it would provide a significant platform to display his skills.
“I’d prefer Manchester City, but securing a regular starting position there would be challenging given their squad depth.
Arsenal is also a contender for the Premier League title.
I wouldn’t rule out Liverpool either, as it would be a fantastic chance to demonstrate my abilities at a top club.”
Meanwhile, Liverpool target Mats Wieffer is set to join Brighton in a £25 million move.
Fabrizio Romano says that the player has agreed on terms, and transfer talks are almost done.
Wieffer, 24, played under Arne Slot at Feyenoord last year and did well with six goals and four assists in 42 games in all competitions.
His performances helped Feyenoord lift the KNVB Cup and attracted attention from several European clubs.
