Liverpool welcome West Ham United at home looking to continue their unbeaten in the season. The Reds have only dropped two points in the Premier League this season following a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford when they faced arch-rivals Manchester United.
This has seen them win 25 of their 26 matches while it’s looking like an incredible campaign for Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The Anfield side will be coming into the game off the back of a defeat, losing 1-0 to Spanish side Athletico Madrid during the first leg of their UEFA Champions League clash last week.
Here LiverpoolCore.com takes a look at how Liverpool could line-up against the Hornets at Anfield.
Out: Jordan Henderson (Hamstring), Xherdan Shaqiri (calf), Nathaniel Clyne (knee).
Swiss International Xherdan Shaqiri and Clyne Nathaniel are out injured for Liverpool with calf and knee injuries respectively.
Club skipper Jordan Henderson will miss out with a hamstring. Henderson picked up the injury against the Spanish side Athletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League and could be absent for Liverpool up until the middle of March.
There may not be any personnel changes to the Liverpool side as their next game is not until Sunday next week against Watford. This would see about 10 of the 11 that started against Athletico Madrid expected to keep their places in the first team.
The only thing to ponder is who replaces the injured Henderson in the middle of the park, while Naby Keita, James Milner, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all in contention for that spot.
The Guinea star Naby Keita is tipped to start alongside Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum.
However, there will be no further choices in the forward position for Liverpool as the African pair of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will flank center forward Roberto Firmino in a three-pronged attack for Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
