Should Liverpool’s Sadio Mane join Real Madrid in the summer?

Real Madrid is said to be interested to sign Liverpool forward Sadio Mane following the reports making the rounds in Europe. The Liverpool hitman has had an imperious season on for the Reds scoring some vital goal for the club.

This was evident with his crucial equalizer as they culminated in a late show to beat Aston Villa at Villa Park. Mane’s goal was instrumental as his Reds side defeated Norwich 0-1 at the Carrow Road.

Now such performance has caught the attention of the Real Madrid side as the Spanish giants are keen for his services at the end of the season.

But the big quest is should Sadio Mane leave Liverpool at a point like this to join Real Madrid. This is a big task to predict as transfer rumors continues to emanate for the African star ahead of next season despite the Coronavirus distraction.

On a good note Mane would be an ideal bargain for Real while they prepare for life without Welsh superstar Gareth Bale.

Mane’s stock has risen in the past couple of years since making the move to Anfield. He’s won the African footballer of the Year award ahead of three African superstars plying their trade in the EPL.

This includes Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, and closest rival Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez. This may have given a clear picture as regards to Sadio’s World-class status and reputation.

There is no questioning about his immense ability and attitude on the pitch as we have seen repeatedly in the Premier League for Southampton and most especially at Anfield for Liverpool. He’s one of the reasons Liverpool would be adjured as the English Champions at the end of the English Premier League this season.

How good of a player is Mane as he would be a massive addition to the Spanish giants while having the suitability to integrate into the Real Madrid set-up even more than the so-called (more fancied) Eden Hazard?

If Mane joins Liverpool it would be a good move at the right time considering the age (28 years) and the aspiration of the Senegalese player.

He’s won the most important trophy with Liverpool, winning the UEFA Champion League medal following their triumph against Spurs last season. He’s certain to win the Premier League this term while he becomes an African (representative) ambassador on the pitch during the EL Classico with a move to Real Madrid.

This may sound tough (rough) for Liverpool but a replacement beckons for their fulfilled and loyal servant who have served the club pretty much well at the end of the season with the Reds spoilt with options in order to replace Sadio Mane.
