Rumoured Liverpool FC target Kylian Mbappe has been tipped to stay at Paris Saint-German beyond the current season. The French wunderkind has been a source of interest from the Reds in recent times, with Jurgen Klopp believed to be a huge admirer of the World Cup-winning forward.
The Frenchman has been reported to be very happy at the Ligue 1 giants and has no intention of moving to England. Besides Liverpool FC, Real Madrid had also been expected to make an approach for the PSG star this summer. Recent reports indicate that the Los Blancos may attempt to sign the 21-year old Mbappe next summer.
Mbappe, however, has expressed his desire of staying at the Le Parc des Princes come next season as well. The French international voiced his intention of playing for PSG for the fourth year, stating that he wants to help his side win trophies.
The 21-year old also stressed importance on what will be PSG’s 50th year of formation next season. Mbappe also voiced his desire to take the Ligue 1 club to greater heights and fulfill the expectations of the PSG supporters.
Liverpool FC remains interested in securing the services of the French striker, despite Mbappe’s desire to play for PSG. However, it is understood that the Premier League champions will make a move for the 21-year old next summer.
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has ruled out any high-profile signings for the Merseyside club this during the current transfer window. Pursuing Mbappe’s signing will be a very expensive affair for Liverpool FC. Regarded as one of the best players in the world, the 21-year old will have a huge price-tag on his head by PSG should the Ligue 1 champions think about sanctioning his sale next summer.
Moreover, PSG themselves shelled out €180million to finalize Mbappe’s signing from AS Monaco in 2018 following a season-long loan. The French club are certain to recoup their investment in the 21-year old, who is destined to achieve greater success in his future.
Paris Saint-German are keen on continuing to field the partnership of Mbappe and Neymar on the pitch. The Ligue 1 giants remain optimistic about getting their hands on the Champions League trophy through the duo’s collaboration.
