Premier League new-boys Leeds United are preparing a sensational double swoop for Liverpool FC attacking pair Divock Origi and Rhian Brewster in this summer’s transfer window, according to reports.
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is understood to prioritize bolstering his side’s frontline ahead of their first Premier League campaign in 16 years. The club’s present attacking options are believed to be inefficient for the style of play in England’s top-flight football division.
Brewster, the 20-year old English starlet was on fire for Swansea City in the latter half of the 2019-20 season on loan from the Reds. Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the young striker, however, the German wants Brewster to gain some more experience away from the Merseyside club.
Origi and Brewster both are tipped to be squad-rotation options for the Merseyside giants in the upcoming season. The former has been a bit-part player for Jurgen Klopp’s side over the past two seasons.
However, the Belgian international has been impressive in his showings despite limited first-team action awarded to him by Klopp. Origi is rumoured to be considering his future at the Anfield outfit beyond this summer and could be open to the idea of securing a move to Elland Road amid interest from Leeds United.
