AC Milan are understood to be closing in on signing Liverpool striker Divock Origi in the summer when his stay at Anfield comes to an end.
The Belgium international will be allowed to leave the Liverpool camp on a free transfer come the end of the season and the wantaway forward is nearing completion of a move to Serie A table toppers AC Milan.
The ageing duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud are unlikely to play major parts for AC Milan in the forthcoming campaign which has forced the club to dip into the transfer market for much-needed fresh faces.
A report from Sky Sports Italy has claimed that the San Siro giants could seal a deal with the Liverpool man Origi within the next week as the Italians look to bring in reinforcements for their attacking roster.
Origi’s availability this coming summer has made the former Lille striker a top name on the shopping lists for a host of European bigwigs which include the likes of West Ham United, Inter Milan and Atalanta.
