AC Milan offered the chance to sign Liverpool fringe player Divock Origi

AC Milan have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Liverpool fringe player Divock Origi who enters free agency this coming summer window.

Origi has been used as a bit-part player by Jurgen Klopp at Anfield in recent years despite the Belgium international’s impressive displays off the bench in the final third of the pitch.

According to a report from the Italian news outlet Milan Live ( via The Liverpool Echo), it is claimed that Origi’s search for regular game time away from Anfield could be his ticket to San Siro with AC Milan credited with an interest in his signature.

Origi’s contract at Anfield is due to expire come the summer despite suggestions that Liverpool can trigger a one-year extension for the former Lille man to stay put with Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders heading into the new campaign.

There is no shortage of suitors for the Liverpool man with the likes of Burnley, Newcastle United and West Ham United joined by a handful of Serie A clubs in Atalanta and AC Milan in the widely contested race.
