Liverpool will be looking to put their weekend’s shock defeat to Nottingham behind them as they take on Dutch giants Ajax in the midweek Champions League group stage fixture.
Jurgen Klopp’s men failed to hit the ground running on their travels to the City Ground and were handed a 1-0 defeat but the Premier League new boys Forest.
Klopp, however, will be counting on his players to return to their best come Wednesday night at the iconic Johan Cruijff ArenA with Liverpool needing just a point to advance to the knockout stages of the competition.
