Al-Ittihad set to make a late push to sign Liverpool star Mohamed Salah

Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad are reportedly planning to make another bid for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah before their transfer window closes this Thursday, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Sources familiar with the matter have disclosed that a Saudi Arabian delegation arrived in London over the weekend and is preparing a final attempt to persuade Liverpool to allow Salah to depart.

Despite Liverpool’s firm stance that Salah is not available for transfer, certain senior figures within Al-Ittihad are considering one final attempt to secure his services.

Last Thursday, Liverpool turned down an astonishing £150 million offer from Al-Ittihad for the 31-year-old forward.

However, the Saudi club remains undeterred and plans to increase their offer to an astonishing £200 million within the next 48 hours.

There is a belief that Salah might entertain the idea of joining Al-Ittihad, which has fueled optimism among the Saudi delegation.

Al-Ittihad, armed with substantial financial resources, are set to challenge Jurgen Klopp’s statements regarding Salah’s availability with renewed enthusiasm.

Salah, regarded as one of the world’s premier players, continues to perform at a high level. A potential transfer to the Saudi Pro League would be a notable achievement and could serve as a statement to European clubs.
