Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be key to Liverpool’s plans for bringing in Jarrod Bowen from West Ham United in the forthcoming transfer window.
Bowen has long been linked with a move to Merseyside with the Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp emerging as a longstanding admirer of the West Ham winger who has been in flying form this season.
Despite The Hammers camp showing reluctance in parting ways with the highly-rated Bowen this coming summer, it is understood that Liverpool might have a plan in place to land their top target ahead of the start of the next season.
According to a report from The Daily Mirror, it is claimed that Klopp could be convinced to send the fringe Liverpool first-teamer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the opposite direction in a deal that could suit both parties involved.
Chamberlain has served as a bit-part player for Liverpool over the course of the season with regular gametime hard to come by for the ex-Arsenal man who would be taking a decision over his Anfield future sooner rather than later.
