Arsenal have reportedly tabled a new deal in front of rumoured Liverpool target Bukayo Saka who has been linked with a move away from North London in recent times.
The England international wide player has attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City with the two Premier League heavyweights keeping close tabs on Saka’s contract situation in the Arsenal fold.
According to The Daily Mail, however, it is claimed that The Gunners are hoping to tie down Saka to extended terms with a major hike in wages offered to lure the promising youngster to commit his future at the Emirates Stadium.
Saka has also become a regular on the team sheet for England and will be expected to play a major role for his nation in the forthcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year where Gareth Southgate’s side will look to clinch glory.
He has two more years remaining on his current deal with Arsenal but has invited attention from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool with the Merseysiders eyeing up Saka to reinforce their attacking ranks in the near future.
