Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have reportedly slapped an enormous €120 million price-tag on Liverpool’s top target Jude Bellingham, according to a report from The Daily Mirror.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been credited with a strong interest in moving in for the teenage talent Bellingham come next summer with the midfielder set to stay put with Dortmund beyond the ongoing transfer window.
Dortmund parting ways with talisman Erling Haaland, who signed for Premier League holders Manchester City earlier in the window, means that the German club are firm in their decision to retain their wantaway star Bellingham heading into the new season.
Liverpool will likely go head to head with the Spanish champions Real Madrid for Bellingham’s signature come 2023 but a €120 million asking price could prove to be a roadblock for the Merseysiders who broke their fee record to sign Darwin Nunez this summer.
It is understood that Dortmund consider 2023 as the earliest point at which they will mull over allowing the 19-year-old England international to demand a move elsewhere with three years still left on his current terms.
