Championship outfit Bournemouth have made an approach to take on Liverpool full-back Neco Williams in a loan move until the end of the season.
Williams has been used as a squad player by the Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp so far this campaign with Trent Alexander-Arnold firming his berth on the starting team sheet with a stellar run of form.
With just one league appearance to his name of which he played the final few minutes, the young Wales international defender could be heading out the exit door at Anfield with Bournemouth credited with a strong interest in his services, according to reports from The Liverpool Echo.
It is believed that the 20-year-old has cut short his break in Dubai to touch base with his representatives and mull over making the move to Bournemouth in the final hours of the January window ahead of Monday’s deadline.
Jurgen Klopp will be open to sanctioning Willians’ exit in a short-term loan deal but the former is unlikely to cash in on the full-back in a permanent transfer.
