Diogo Jota returns to the Liverpool front line at the expense of Darwin Nunez for Saturday’s Premier League game away at Crystal Palace.
Jota had been a recent returnee from injury and his inclusion in the Reds XI will be a welcome sight for the Liverpool faithful who are eager to see their side return to winning ways after the Champions League defeat to Real Madrid.
Joe Gomez drops out
The England centre-back Gomez endured a horrid night out in the Champions League loss to Real earlier this week and Jurgen Klopp issues a recall to Joel Matip with Gomez giving way.
Milner and Keita join the midfield
Also dropping out of the first XI are Fabinho and Stefan Bajcetic with James Milner and Naby Keita the new inductees to partner Jordan Henderson in the centre of the park.
In the final third, Darwin Nunez is not a part of the matchday squad due to unknown reasons and taking his place alongside Mo Salah and Cody Gakpo is Jota.
