Defensive regulars Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson return to the Liverpool first XI for Sunday’s Anfield showdown against Arsenal.
Also staging a return to the starting team sheet is Mohamed Salah who joins the front line which would be eager to get the goals on home turf.
Konate the sole name retaining his berth
The France centre-back is the only defender who retains his starting berth from midweek’s goalless draw away at Chelsea with Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas dropping down to the bench.
Earning recalls are Van Dijk, who missed the last game due to an illness, and the two first choice full-backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.
Salah joins the Reds front line
Liverpool’s midfield has the skipper Jordan Henderson provided company by Fabinho and Curtis Jones.
In the final third of the pitch, talisman Salah is joined by Cody Gako and Diogo Jota with the former expected to operate as the focal point of attack.
Here is how both teams line up for today’s Premier League fixture:
