Jurgen Klopp rings in big changes to the Liverpool starting XI for the game against Chelsea in Saturday’s eagerly anticipated contest at Anfield.
The 18-year-old Stefan Bajčetić starts in midfield while Trent Alexander-Arnold is benched for the fixture with his replacement in James Milner.
Robertson returns to the defence
Andy Robertson is back in the XI to replace Kostas Tsimikas in the left back role while the veteran James Milner starts at right back as Arnold drops down to the bench.
Joel Matip is another notable name amongst the substitutes with Joe Gomez getting the nod to start for the home side with Ibrahima Konate in the centre-back berths.
Harvey Elliott joins the Liverpool front line
Darwin Nunez recovers from his recent injury niggle to make the squad but he starts on the bench with Harvey Elliott joining Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo up front.
Salah is likely to operate as the focal point of the attack for the hosts while Gakpo and Elliott will slot in the wide roles.
