Liverpool FC fans can have a sigh of relief as one of the many injured first-team regulars of the Reds, Fabinho, is amongst the XI that will shortly take the pitch at Anfield as Jurgen Klopp’s men square off against a high-flying Leicester City side.
The Brazillian had been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the end of last month, and with his return to the Liverpool FC lineup, Joel Matip finds himself a reliable partner at the heart of the backline, which will be missing Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, as well as Trent Alexander Arnold, the latter of whom is replaced by James Milner in the confirmed XI.
Elsewhere on the pitch, there is the youngster Curtis Jones who steps in for the injured Jordan Henderson. In the absence of the Liverpool FC skipper, Jones will be seen patrolling the midfield alongside the usual faces of Gini Wijnaldum and Naby Keita.
Interestingly, there is still no Thiago Alcantara in the matchday squad despite reports of the Spanish international having made a full-fledged return to first-team training prior to the game at Anfield.
