Diogo Jota is sidelined for today’s league fixture at the Hawthorns with a foot injury and Sadio Mane is recalled into the Liverpool starting eleven replacing Jota in the frontline.
Mane had been a benchwarmer last time around in the win at Old Trafford and was notably upset with Jurgen Klopp’s decision to bench him with Jota being preferred ahead of him in the pecking order.
Gini Wijnaldum drops out as Curtis Jones is handed an outing
The midfield prodigy Curtis Jones is handed a league outing with Gini Wijnaldum dropping down to the bench as Liverpool eye a win over West Brom to close the gap on the top-four in the standings.
Ozan Kabak remains an injury absentee for the visitors with Rhys Williams getting a second straight run of first-team involvement at centre-back alongside Nat Phillips.
Lack of senior options on the bench for Liverpool
There is no Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner on the bench for Jurgen Klopp’s side with skipper Jordan Henderson still not a part of the matchday squad despite making a return to training at the Kirkby facility.
Klopp, however, has a host of youngsters in Ben Woodburn and Billy Koumetio to call upon in the dying stages of the game should Liverpool be cruising through as is expected of them when taking on a relegated West Brom outfit.
Here is how both sides lineup for the upcoming Premier League fixture:
