Massive relief on the injury front was in store for the Liverpool FC fanbase in the form of Diogo Jota making a much-awaited return to training sessions at the club’s AXA Training Centre.
Jota had been sidelined since the backend of last year with a knee injury and the former Wolves man’s time on the recovery table came at a point when he was playing a superb brand of football since his move to Anfield in the summer of 2020.
The Portuguese had been a major star turn in the Liverpool FC colours and had an immediate impact on the pitch for Jurgen Klopp’s side despite arriving on Merseyside as a mere cover for the front trio of Mane, Salah and Firmino.

Liverpool FC’s activity across social media witnessed Jota partake in a number of gym exercises as well as running drills on the pitch as he works his way to full fitness.
Jurgen Klopp’s men would benefit greatly from Jota’s timely return to the senior fold at Anfield following Takumi Minamino leaving the Premier League holders for Southampton on deadline day in a short-term loan deal.
