Divock Origi has reportedly reached an agreement with AC Milan for a summer move to San Siro with the Belgian striker set to head out the exit door at Anfield.
Origi’s limited first-team involvement in recent years under Jurgen Klopp’s charge had given birth to talk that the 26-year-old will demand a move elsewhere this coming summer.
AC Milan had emerged the clear frontrunners in what was a widely contested race for the Belgium international’s signature with the likes of Fiorentina, Atalanta and West Ham United also showing an interest.
According to a report from Sport Mediaset, it is claimed that Origi and his representatives have concluded the long-drawn-out talks with the AC Milan camp for finalising the terms over the player’s reported three-year deal with the Serie A bigwigs.
There is also the option of a fourth year for Origi to extend his stay with the Italians should both parties agree with AC Milan closing in on their first major recruitment of the summer’s transfer window.
