Divock Origi to seal move to AC Milan with only a medical pending

Divock Origi is set to seal his long-awaited move to AC Milan with only a medical pending for the Belgium international’s exit from the Anfield fold.

The Belgium international has been Jurgen Klopp’s man off the bench in the most important of games this season but his limited first-team opportunities have convinced him to seek a new destination come the summer.

According to a report from The Athletic, is now claimed that Origi has agreed upon personal terms with AC Milan with the Serie A table toppers certain to be the forward’s new club heading into the next campaign.

A medical examination is rumoured to be in the offing following the Champions League final on May 28 where Origi’s Liverpool lock horns with Real Madrid in what looks likely to be the striker’s final game in the Reds shirt.

The 27-year-old could be one of the first players to leave the Liverpool camp this summer with Jurgen Klopp understood to be keen on overhauling his ranks and deeming squad players surplus to requirements.
