Borussia Dortmund could be set to spoil Liverpool’s plans of signing Jude Bellingham in the summer with the German club looking to table a new offer for their in-demand midfield talent.
The Reds have earmarked the England midfielder as their No.1 summer target with the boss Jurgen Klopp in dire need of overhauling his engine room amid Liverpool’s struggles on the pitch this season.
Bellingham, however, remains one of the most sought-after names in the transfer market with Liverpool not the only European heavyweight club hopeful of landing his services as the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea keep tabs on the player’s situation.
According to a report from the German publication Sports Bild, it is claimed that Dortmund are looking to make a lucrative offer for Bellingham to renew his contract at Signal Iduna Park despite speculation that the midfielder himself is leaning towards a switch to Anfield.
The Birmingham starlet is understood to be eager to focus his attention on the remainder of the campaign with Dortmund and steer his side to convincing displays in the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
