Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe is not a potential target for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side in this summer’s transfer window, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Speculation has been rife as of late that the 22-year-old Mbappe whose future at the Parisians remains shrouded with uncertainty is a name that is being eyed up by Klopp ahead of the next season’s start.
Many questions about Mbappé and Liverpool. ‘Fake news coming out of nowhere’, comments from all parties involved. There’s nothing between Kylian and #LFC this summer. 🔴 #Mbappé https://t.co/bMDTrNHMmV

However, Romano has played down such claims by stating that there is nothing in the works between the Frenchman and the Anfield giants this summer.
Klopp has been tipped to use the transfer window to bring in a new attacking signing to bolster his options up top on the pitch as the Liverpool boss is in line to offload Divock Origi whose Anfield career has come to a standstill these past couple of seasons.
Interest in the Belgium international forward has come from a number of sides across Europe but with the Reds holding firm on their £20 million for the former Lille man, clubs could resist in reaching out to the Merseysiders with a formal offer.
