Fastest Liverpool Star To 40 Premier League Goals, Mohamed Salah Ladies And Gentlemen

Mohamed Salah became the fastest Liverpool player to reach 40 Premier League goals after notching up the feat in just 52 games in England’s top flight.

Liverpool currently sits at the top of the Premier League table and their fans have every right to be buzzing about their club’s success as even talisman Mohamed Salah is breaking records with almost every passing game.

The Egyptian winger became the fastest Liverpool player to hit the 40 goal landmark and has achieved the success with some relative ease. Salah’s performance against Bournemouth showcased what a sensational player he is and left no doubts about his quality as he completed a stunning hat-trick to send the Merseyside club to the summit of the Premier League.

Salah arrived at Anfield on 12th August 2017 from Serie A club AS Roma and from that point onwards he has been their go-to player that Liverpool was in dire need of to take Liverpool to the next level.

The Egyptian international netted 44 goals in the 2017-18 season across all the competitions breaking plenty of records in the process and this season he has already racked up 12 goals. His impact at Liverpool is impeccable and if he continues his form he can soon be a Liverpool legend.

Some of the Football pundits were suggesting that Salah could be a one season wonder as he netted just 3 goals in 11 outings at the beginning of the 2018-19 season and was going through a rough patch but, he silenced his critics with 9 goals in 11 matches after that poor start to go level with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as the EPL’s top scorer at the moment.

One of the notable things out here is that Mohamed Salah is not an out and out striker, still he manages to score so many goals shows how good a player he is and Liverpool fan will be hoping that there are plenty more to come from their 26-year-old superstar in the near future.

Salah’s display against Bournemouth took Liverpool to unbeaten 16 matches in the Premier League and made them the league leaders as Manchester City were beaten by Chelsea. Salah’s contribution proved vital for Klopp’s men and he labeled Salah’s performance as” Brilliant” after the match ended.
