Turkish outfit Fenerbahce are considering making a move for Kostas Tsimikas who is just a summer into signing for Liverpool but has failed to grab first-team involvement at Anfield.
Reports from The Mirror claim that the 25-year-old full-back is a potential target for Fenerbahce ahead of the new season which will commence after the UEFA European Championships.
Jurgen Klopp has not handed much game-time to the Greece international whose arrival at Anfield last summer was to help provide some much-needed cover for the first-choice left-back option in Andy Robertson.
Tsimikas’ involvement in the Liverpool shirt has been quite limited to cup outings and he has featured in just two Premier League games giving rise to speculation that his future might be away from Merseyside for quite some time.
The Reds are understood to be willing to part ways with the former Olympiakos man but in a loan deal that can prove beneficial to both parties in the long run.
