Fiorentina are against parting ways with Liverpool target Sofyan Amrabat in January despite the player being keen to leave the club at the end of the season.
Amrabat has enjoyed a breakthrough tournament at the World Cup in Qatar with the midfielder’s displays for his country Morocco pivotal to them going through to the last eight after upsetting Spain.
The 27-year-old could be on the move soon, suggests the rumour mill, with two Premier League giants in Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur keeping close tabs on his situation ahead of the January transfer window.
With Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp looking to strengthen his midfield roster which has come under fire this season for its underwhelming displays, Amrabat remains a top name on the Anfield wish list, according to Florian Plettenberg.
It is understood that Sofyan Amrabat’s camp have already met Klopp who remains on the hunt for viable options to reinforce his midfield midway through a busy season where Liverpool are yet to hit their best form.
