The Brazilian and Englishman are back

Robert Firmino returns to training after a three week long break. The forward has joined the team along with the 19-year old Englishman Alexander-Arnold. Both are likely to make their first pre-season appearances against Napoli.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is happy to see the Brazilian back and would want to see him play against Napoli. All of it depends of the player’s fitness. Firmino will find it tough to regain his touch.

The English teenager is all set to continue his World Cup form and is likely to feature in Klopp’s starting line-up. Klopp is happy with both the key players back in the line-up.

What did the coach feel?

“It’s good to have him here, he looks in good shape,” Klopp said as Firmino joined training in France.

“In Trent’s case, it looks like he is still growing. You can see him after five weeks and it’s like, something is different, maybe a muscle here or there.”
