Fixtures released for Liverpool’s 2020-21 Premier League campaign

Liverpool FC announced the fixtures for the upcoming 2020-21 Premier League season which will see Jurgen Klopp’s men defend their league title glory for the first time in 30 years.

The Reds kick-off their 2020-21 league campaign on 12th September with a visit from Premier League new-boys Leeds United to Anfield. Following that, Liverpool FC travel to Stamford Bridge to face Frank Lampard’s restructured Chelsea side.

Jurgen Klopp’s men end the month of September by playing hosts to Arsenal in what will be a truly exciting encounter to watch between the two sets of attacking-minded clubs.

The much looked forward to Merseyside Derby fixtures are scheduled for 17th October and 20th February. The former will see the defending Premier League champions pay a visit to the Goodison Park, while the reverse fixture will be played at Anfield.

However, what Liverpool FC fans will be anticipating the most upon the release of the 2020-21 league fixtures is when does the Anfield outfit play last season’s runner ups and arch-rivals Manchester City.

A visit to the Etihad Stadium beckons for Jurgen Klopp’s men on 7th November in what will prove to be a very tough game for the Reds. Pep Guardiola’s side’s away fixture at Liverpool FC is scheduled for 6th February.

The Reds other notable fixtures are the Boxing Day clash against newly-promoted West Bromwich Albion and conclude the proceedings of the 2020-21 Premier League season at Anfield by hosting Crystal Palace.
