Following his observations during the opening weekend of the new Premier League season, Gabby Agbonlahor doesn’t believe that Liverpool or Manchester United will secure spots in the top four.

Liverpool played to a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, while United kicked off the season with a slender 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.
United’s performance wasn’t particularly impressive, and Wolves had the opportunity to secure a win or a point if their finishing had been better. Additionally, a contentious VAR decision in the final moments of the game worked against Wolves.
The Red Devils are aiming to build upon their third-place finish in the previous season, and Liverpool are also determined to compete for the title following their fifth-place finish last term.

But, Agbonlahor has a different perspective. He believes Manchester City will maintain their hold on the title, with Arsenal securing the runner-up position once again.
According to the former Aston Villa player, Newcastle United will claim third place and fourth place will be secured by Chelsea.
While fans might not take his prediction very seriously, there is potential for the traditionally strong teams to face challenges in the upcoming season.
The early indications suggest that Arsenal, Man United, and Liverpool lack the capability to compete with Manchester City, as demonstrated by the reigning champions’ dominant 3-0 victory over Burnley on Friday.

Building a 2-0 lead at halftime, thanks to Erling Braut Haaland’s brace, Man City’s manager Pep Guardiola still found fault with the Norwegian’s performance.
This relentless pursuit of perfection might be the reason why the club is poised to secure their fourth consecutive title win at the Etihad Stadium.
