Harry Wilson could head out to the Championship in the coming days

A number of Championship clubs have been alerted to the rumoured availability of fringe Liverpool FC attacker Harry Wilson after the Reds left the Welshman out of the 24-man squad for the 2020-21 season of Champions League football.

Wilson had widely expected to seal an exit from the Premier League champions this summer following his return to the Merseyside club after a season-long loan spell at AFC Bournemouth, a stint which was marred with inconsistent showings on the pitch along with many injury niggles for the 23-year old.

However, the Welsh international’s highly speculated move to Burnley did not turn reality as the Clartet’s opening bid was way off Liverpool FC’s asking price for the player, which meant that Wilson ended up staying put at Anfield beyond Monday’s deadline day.

With the mini-transfer window for England’s footballing divisions running until October 16, a loan move or even a permanent transfer to a Championship side is on the cards for the Liverpool FC player, the Evening Standard reports.
