Harry Wilson will be allowed to leave Liverpool FC in this summer’s transfer window only on a permanent basis, according to the latest reports.
The 23-year old attacker spent the 2019-20 season on loan at AFC Bournemouth, scoring seven goals in 31 league outings for the Cherries. However, Eddie Howe’s side suffered the unfortunate fate of relegation to the Championship after poor form over the course of the 38-match Premier League campaign.
However, it is believed that there was an agreement between Wilson and the Anfield giants that last season’s spell at the Vitality Stadium was going to be the final time Liverpool FC were loaning out the Welsh international to any other side.
If a permanent transfer approach does not come Jurgen Klopp’s way for Wilson this summer, the attacker will be a part of the Reds’ first-team squad next season. Despite not being able to force his way into Klopp’s plans at Anfield, the 23-year old is highly regarded by the German coach.
With doubts over Xherdan Shaqiri’s future at Liverpool FC, Wilson could be slotted into a backup role by Klopp. The Liverpool FC academy graduate is a very gifted forward with a spectacular long-range shooting ability that makes him a credible threat from set-pieces.
