Italy’s Euros-winning star midfield man Nicoló Barella is not for sale this summer with Inter Milan firm on retaining their first-team regular despite Liverpool and Manchester United showing interest in him this summer.
Barella enjoyed a superb run of form at the UEFA European Championships which recently concluded and the young midfielder’s displays were key to Roberto Mancini’s Azzuri being crowned the champions with a win over England in the Wembley showdown.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Serie A holders Inter Milan, despite their issues on the financial front as of late, are insistent on turning down any interest from Liverpool and Manchester United in signing Barella this summer.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been heavily backed to use the transfer market ahead of the start of the new season to bring in a new midfield man to shore up his options in the centre of the park which are on influential figure short following Gini Wijnaldum’s exit for PSG.
The Holland international was an anchor in the midfield department for Liverpool for five seasons before his contract ran out and he signed for Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain on a three-year-long deal.
