Inter Milan are said to be ready to part ways with Liverpool transfer target Nicolo Barella in a fresh incentive to the Merseysiders’ pursuit of the highly rated midfielder.
Barella has long been on the transfer radar at Anfield with the Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp on the lookout for reinforcements to freshen his options in the centre of the park.
According to a report from the Italian outlet Calciomercato, it is claimed that the Reds could be in for a major boost in their long-standing attempts to bring in Barella with Inter willing to green-light his exit from the San Siro fold.
Inter would be open to a sale for a fee in the region of £60 million which explains Barella’s importance to the Serie A giants who have endured a shaky start to the new campaign with just nine points from a possible 15.
Barella has a host of big-name suitors across the continent keen on moving in for the Italy international but Liverpool would hope to pip rivals in the chase for the 25-year-old maestro.
