Jordan Henderson believes hard work is critical on part of the Liverpool FC squad to ensure a strong start to the upcoming 2020-21 Premier League season. The 30-year old will be seen leading the Merseyside giants towards defending their Premier League crown next season against the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea.
Henderson insists that the aim of the Liverpool FC side will be to win as many trophies as possible, the focus should be on making certain of high-intensity training during the club’s pre-match preparations.
“No matter whether you were playing, maybe playing every game or you hadn’t played that much, training has always had a high level and we’ve got to keep that going forward.
The Reds skipper also expressed his belief that the Anfield outfit will strive to keep the hunger and determination alive that has propelled them to success both on and off the pitch over the past seasons.

Besides securing a Premier League title last season after a gap of 30 years, Henderson also led Jurgen Klopp’s side to UEFA Champions League glory the season before that. Across Liverpool FC’s 2019-20 season, the club also managed to add the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup to their trophy haul.
“To go again, to improve, to be better. To keep that desire, that hunger and that competitiveness as we’ve shown over the last few years.”

The squad’s as well as the manager’s focus is always in connection to wanting more success on the pitch and looking towards the upcoming game rather than dwell on the previous ones, expressed the former Sunderland man.
“I think that’s just natural to us now. We’ve always looked at the next game as we always see it as the biggest one and that 90 minutes we give everything to win.
