Liverpool’s manager, Jurgen Klopp, lately got himself in a bit of a conflict with one of his star players Mohamed Salah in a game against The Hammers.
This caused talk about how things are going inside the team, especially with Klopp’s time as coach coming to an end.
The spat happened just as Salah was set to leave the bench. West Ham subs saw it and it quickly became a big talk point. Despite it being out in the open, Klopp played it down fast.
He said that he and Salah have a strong and grown-up bond. He mentioned, “It’s all sorted. It’s no big deal.”
Klopp shows that there’s a deep bond and respect built over the years with Salah. He mentioned, “We can deal with these matters without caring what others think. We are okay with it. That’s not even a story to tell.”
Klopp dropped some light on why they disagreed. He shared that in a perfect setup, team roles would mesh better.

He noted, “Yes, then this wouldn’t have happened because Mo wouldn’t have been on the bench at all. Everything affects everything else.”
The link between how each person and the whole team do is close. If all was set up just right, such trouble wouldn’t come up. As Klopp gets ready to leave Liverpool, many wonder about Salah’s next steps.
Some teams, especially from Saudi Arabia, have shown a keen interest in him. Yet, it’s clear that Liverpool wants to keep this star player from Egypt, who is about to end his contract.
When asked about what Salah might do next, Klopp stepped back from the talk.
He said, “Look, you all must learn to deal with the fact that it’s not my business anymore, these matters.”
He added, “Mo, as we’ve said, is an amazing player. But, I don’t think I should talk about his future, to speak the truth. Other folks will sort that out, Mo most of all. All’s good.”
Even as his job as a manager is nearing an end, Klopp is still somewhat focused on making the group strong for the future ahead.
He said, “I’m just trying to lay a decent foundation for the team’s future, and I think we’ve done that. But then, the choices, others will make them, not me.”
