Brighton wantaway star first-teamer Yves Bissouma has caught Jurgen Klopp’s eye with the Liverpool gaffer reportedly involved in the scouting of the Seagulls player ahead of the summer transfer window.
Reports from The Times claim that the 24-year-old Bissouma has asked for an exit from the Amex this summer and the Reds are in line to extend an approach for him.
The Mali international has been a hugely influential figure in the centre of the park for Graham Potter’s Brighton outfit who have narrowly steered clear of the drop zone over the course of this ongoing campaign.
But with the Seagulls expiring a drastic slump in form in recent times, Bissouma has asked for an exit in the summer on the back of his solid form gathering him many suitors in the transfer market one of whom are Liverpool.
Klopp has fallen short of options to choose from in his midfield ranks this season with the likes of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho having to slot in at centre-back in makeshift roles owing to the terrible injury crisis at Anfield.
