Jurgen Klopp Wins Manager Of The Month

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has won the manager of the Month in the Premier League following a perfect start to the new season after four games.

Klopp took over the reins at Liverpool back in October 2015 after Brendan Rodgers was sacked and it took him a while to actually win a trophy after reaching a few finals. But when he did, Klopp swooped in for the big one and returned the Champions League title for the sixth time in Liverpool’s illustrious history this summer.

The Champions League was then followed up by the UEFA Super Cup win against Chelsea last month on penalties and Liverpool has become a real force to reckon with at the moment. The Merseyside giants sit at the summit of the Premier League table and are the only club to maintain their 100 percent win record until now.

The German boss has instilled a very aggressive brand of football into Liverpool which has taken the world by storm and plenty of clubs fear to play the Reds and that has helped Klopp to win the Manager of the Month for August.

Upon receiving his accolade the 52-year-old went on to state that it’s been a really nice month despite losing the Community Shield to Manchester City just before the season began, “I said before to the boys, the coaches, we won the Manager of the Month award again. It’s really nice; It shows the last month was obviously good; the boys won four games in the league, won the Super Cup. We lost the Community Shield but that game was good as well. The start was good so far and this is proof of that. Thank you very much.”
