Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been crowned as the manager of the month for September after the Reds continued their impressive start to the new Premier League season.
The Merseyside giants are currently sitting pretty at the summit of the Premier League table and have won eight out of eight in England’s top flight and Liverpool has an eight-point lead ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in 2nd place. Liverpool is the only team that still has their 100 percent win streak intact and Klopp has been working his magic with the European champions.
Wins over Newcastle United at Anfield and Sheffield United at Bramall Lane as well as Chelsea at Stamford Bridge have helped the club to their winning run of 17 Premier League games. The Reds are eager to dethrone Manchester City as champions of England and end their 30 year-long wait for a Premier League title.
But Klopp is doing his best to help them achieve that and the German has managed to win the Manager of the Month award for the 2nd time in a row after collecting the honor in August. Liverpool had a great start to the new season and Klopp has been instrumental to the success so far.
The 52-year-old beat Eddie Howe, Frank Lampard and Brendan Rodgers to the award as Liverpool maintained their winning start by beating Leicester City as well last weekend. Liverpool will now make the trip to Old Trafford on 20th October to face Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United.
