Kylian Mbappe has reportedly snubbed Liverpool in hopes of signing for Real Madrid

Liverpool FC seems to have suffered a major blow in their extended pursuit for long-term attacking target Kylian Mbappe as recent reports from the Express indicates the Frenchman’s increasing eagerness to turn out for Real Madrid should he leave Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe’s stay at the Parisian outfit beyond this summer’s transfer window is subject to a great deal of uncertainty, with a number of top sides across Europe keen on making a move for the World Cup-winning forward.

Jurgen Klopp is understood to be quite interested in signing Mbappe as an ideal addition to the Merseysiders frontline in the event of current rumours claiming that Mohammad Salah’s unhappiness at Anfield could materialise into a move away from England for the Egyptian star attacker.

The 22-year-old Mbappe is viewed as a viable world-class talent by Klopp and Co., however, plans of making a concrete approach for the France international could take a major hit, with speculation rife that the PSG man is not relenting on his desire to play for Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid.

Insistent on seeking an exit from the Ligue 1 champions this summer is tipped to result in a move to Spain for Mbappe, according to the latest set of transfer talk, but Liverpool FC’s long-lasting chasing after the former AS Monaco starlet is on the verge of a futile conclusion.
