Leeds United have repeated a previous attempt that turned futile to lure in-demand Reds left-back Yasser Larouci to Elland Road before the summer transfer window shuts today.
According to recent reports from The Mirror, Larouci has been a major target for Leeds United boss Marco Bielsa, with the Argentine coach wanting to improve upon his existing full-back options at the club in the Whites’ first top-flight campaign in 16 years.
Larouci has been a fringe member of Jurgen Klopp’s first-team squad at Anfield over the past couple of seasons, having seen Andy Robertson’s swift rise to the first-choice spot in the Liverpool FC side.
However, the arrival of Kostas Tsimikas this summer, the Merseyside club’s first signing of this summer’s transfer window, has further plummeted Larouci’s spot down the pecking order at the club and it is now speculated that the Algerian full-back seeks an exit in order to get more game time in the coming years.
