Leeds United star Raphinha catches Liverpool’s attention

Leeds United forward Raphinha has courted interest from Liverpool FC scouts who have been involved in tracking the Brazillian since his move to Elland Road last summer.

Raphinha’s role in Marco Bielsa’s has come under plaudits of late on the back of his extended first-team involvement for the Whites resulting in a great show of attacking football from the Yorkshire-based club.

Reports from Football Insider claim that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC outfit are looking upon the possibility of making a move for the former Rennes man this summer, with the 24-year-old’s displays catching the attention of the Premier League holders.

Should the likes of Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino, both fringe options within the first-team ranks at Anfield at the moment, be considered surplus to requirements come the end of the ongoing campaign, Klopp could be enticed to launch a bid for the Leeds United star.

Minamino departed Merseyside for Southampton on deadline-day in a short-term loan deal as rumours persist over his future in the Liverpool FC colours following a rather uninspiring year-long spell for Jurgen Klopp’s side since his joining the Anfield giants from RB Salzburg a winter ago.
