Liverpool will hope to regain lost ground on the Premier League front when they make the travels to the Midlands to face Leicester City on Tuesday.
Jurgen Klopp’s men were held to a frustrating 2-2 stalemate against Tottenham Hotspur last time around in league football with the Reds enduring a rare shaky showing this campaign.
A win over Leicester City, however, followed up the previous result with Liverpool booking a semi-final berth in the Carabao Cup after a tense penalty shootout at Anfield last week.
Injury-hit Leicester are unlikely to pose too tough a challenge away from home for Liverpool but Klopp will be backing his players to shed off complacency and claim the three points to maintain pressure on the table-toppers Manchester City.

TEAM NEWS
Jurgen Klopp will be able to call upon his recent COVID-19 absentees in Virgil van Dijk, Curtis Jones, Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara with the players returning to team training.
Andy Robertson is suspended for the upcoming game which would allow Kostas Tsimikas to provide cover in the left full-back role.
Divock Origi, Adrian and Harvey Elliott all remain on the sidelines.
MATCH PREDICTION
We expect Liverpool to secure the win against a depleted Leicester side who have failed to hit the ground running in a consistent fashion over the course of the season.
