Liverpool ran out winners against Norwich City at Anfield in a 2-1 scoreline with Jurgen Klopp’s men going through to the next round in the FA Cup.

A lively start for the home side could have ensured an early opening goal through Curtis Jones whose curling effort was just a whisker away from finding the back of the net.
On the other end of the pitch, Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki put his effort wide with Liverpool hoping to make their dominance count by getting the opener.
It came from Takumi Minamino minutes before the half hour mark when the Japan international was teed up by strike partner Divock Origi to make it 1-0 for Liverpool.
Minamino was once again on target to double his account for the evening as he dispatched the ball that came his way from a Kostas Tsimikas corner delivery.
The second period saw Liverpool search for more goals which were not come to despite some brilliant attacking play by the likes of Origi and Diogo Jota.
Norwich managed a late consolation goal in the dying stages through Lukas Rupp who slotted his finish to the left of Alisson with Liverpool waiting for the final whistle to ensure the win.
