Liverpool and Tammy Abraham links have been rubbished by a Sky Sports claim which suggests that Jurgen Klopp will look elsewhere in the market for a new signing.
The former Chelsea striker is rumoured to be keen on making the move back to England’s top flight just a summer into leaving Chelsea to sign for the Serie A heavyweights AS Roma.
Abraham has been a crucial cog in the final third for the Italians and with 15 goals in his 30 league outings so far this season, the England international is back to his very best which has made his future subject to much speculation.
A switch to Merseyside to join Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side, however, has been turned down by a report from Sky Sports ( via The Liverpool Echo) with the Reds boss Klopp likely to bring in a more versatile forward to bolster his attacking ranks.
The Reds had landed Klopp’s longstanding target in the Columbian winger Luis Diaz earlier in the season during the January window with Diaz arriving on the scene to many plaudits for his stellar run of showings.
